Interface design for the Academic Sports Association, the largest sports organization in Poland.

Our task was to create a modern online platform for the Academic Sports Association (ASA), significantly enhancing user experience while making it easier to access a wide range of articles and sports events. The primary goal of the project was to establish a central information hub for sports events organized by the ASA throughout Poland.

The priority was to design an intuitive information architecture, with clear categorization of publications and content types, as well as integrating visual elements that distinctly reflect the identity of the ASA.

The project encompassed several key sections that needed to be presented in a clear and organized manner, maintaining a suitable visual hierarchy. This was a challenge, as each of these sections plays a crucial role in the ASA's operations. Articles, podcasts, event and competition calendars, as well as information on membership cards and related insurance, are just a portion of the content that required structuring and clear presentation on the website.

Schedule

The 'Schedule' module was designed with user convenience in mind, providing quick and intuitive access to information about upcoming sports events. With a clear layout, users can easily browse through the calendar of competitions, training sessions, and other initiatives organized by the ASA across Poland. The module also offers filtering options by discipline, location, or date, allowing users to quickly find events of interest. Integration with other sections of the site, such as articles and podcasts, further enriches the user experience, enabling comprehensive tracking of the ASA’s sports activities.

Membership Cards

The 'Membership Cards' subpage was designed for clarity and ease of access to essential information for students and association members. This page provides detailed information on the benefits of holding an ASA membership card, such as discounts on sports events, insurance options, and access to sports facilities. Users can also find instructions on the application process, fees, and renewal options. With intuitive navigation, every visitor can quickly locate the information they need and understand the benefits of ASA membership.

The work on information architecture spanned several months and included numerous meetings and workshops with the client. These efforts resulted not only in innovative solutions but also in the establishment of new relationships. The ASA team is composed of sports enthusiasts, which was evident throughout our collaboration. It was an extremely fruitful and satisfying partnership, with both sides fully engaged.
